Afternoon Tea @ Conrad

Went for a Traditional English Afternoon Tea today with Zinc @ Conrad Lobby Lounge. Besides the 3-tier scones and all, we can enjoy a mini buffet of chocolates & cakes.. Woo...

Before we reach Conrad, paid a visit to Sabrina @ Aesop Millenia Walk! And Zinc bought something from there!

Ambiance was great! Soft lighting with background live piano music... Relax!

A variety of teas to choose from.. We tried the Lychee & Vanilla...

Tada! This the the Traditional way to serve High Tea.. 3-tier scones & sandwiches.. And its replenishable!

Lotsa chocolaty stuffs.. u be lovin it if u r a chocolate lover.. Love the Miss Lychee comes in a small skinny glass with raspberry & cream... i had 2 glasses! Opss...

Cute cone shape chocolate stuff w custard cream.. Behind is a special tart w lemongrass taste! Something new .. refreshing!

Love the Kueh Lapis with a new look, top with icing & chocolate... delicious...

Great Ambiance.. not as rowdy as Hyatt's.. But food variety can be improve. Though there is a variety of sweets but it all seems to taste similar.. Service is not bad although they forgot to serve us jams for the scones until i asked for it. Haha...Its $30 bucks after all the charges.

Went to National Museum after the sinful high-tea... Haha..

Its free admission after 6pm.. but can only visit some small galleries like the Food, Fashion, Photography gallery. The biggest one History of Singapore is closed after 6pm... Missed it, shall go other day.. Some galleries gave us creep! Dunno y.. mayb its too dark.. haha.. some jux make us dun wonder stay long! Ewww... esp tis month!

Ppl used to hang down basket from their house to buy food from downstairs.. Sometimes i did hear some granny stories from ah ma or mum.. cool..

Diff kinds of Kopi cups...

Huge introduction to spices.. some can even be smelled!
