The Ship Restaurant

New Year Lunch with colleagues at The Ship Restaurant, Shaw Centre.
Non of our Isetan colleagues wont know this place! Haha.. Its a v retro, old-school, vintage, etc.. place..from the lightings to the tables n chairs to the cup n saucer... wonder did they renovate since they opened? Heard that they have been there 40years!!!! And their business is reali good one wor...

Marsha... she is so young, born in 1988! Gosh.. i felt OLD!
She jux borned when i m alr in Primary 2 man!

Me & Budian opt for the Special Fish Bee Hoon Soup Set... our all time fav, we LOVED it!
Bornless fish slices fried till golden... Crisp crisp...
Funny rite, western restaurant serve local dish.. but its reali good! Haha... other famous items are
Baked Lobster, Ribeye Steak, Escargots, Prawn Cocktail....

Haha.. of cos is Budian la... Look at tat spoonful of veg for me!

As usual, budian finished the whole bowl of soup and left half of the beehoon untouch..Yeah the soup was good!
Doll and Marsha chose other sets like the steak and baked fish, comes with bread n soup...

End with coffee or tea and a dessert of the day.. we've got a apple tart..
Price is reasonable, our Fish Beehoon cos abt $16 while their western dish cos abt $19, after tax...
And it reali filling! Bao daoooo....

Forgot to shoot the Xiao Long Bao... Hmm overall is good but as compared to Crystal Jade, CJ taste slightly better...

Rolling good times.. its so heart warming to eat this as i patronize since young..lotsa memories... esp the Marina Sq outlet. Still remb it was at Level 2 last time where its near some furniture shops... Now the new outlet no longer need us to queue up and carry the heavy plates oursleves. Cant remb if there is still all time fav, Ice Lemon Tea in the menu, next round i should check it out!
Taste great and price reasonable though chicken kinda dry mayb mine was the wing n breast part..

Nakhon Kitchen

Dinner at Nakhon Kitchen, Kovan, jux now....
Suppose to mit up for ber's bday at Joo chiat for Curry Fish Head but she wasnt feeling well so was called off..
Von rented a car, she came pick me & Ying ten we head to Kovan. Han sugg this place, woo... wat a crowd.. we waited for awhile.

Delicious! Especially the tom yum soup!
Price v reasonable... we paid abt $13 per pax....
