12 to 12 Soundwaves 2008

Friday, dolly invited me to the Musical Play 12 to 12 Soundwaves 2008 as she got free tickets from her hubby. We had a quick dinner at Kenny Rogers (my fav!) at Marina Sq.. Quite some time didnt eat Kenny le.. Ordered my fav macaroni & cheese and mash potato! Yummmm....

We proceed to Esplanade immediately as we cant be late for the show..

Soundwaves 2008 (12 to 12) is an evocative blend of dance, drama, music and songs. It tells an intriguing tale of a lone traveller named Bryan, who returns to Singapore after a long time. Bryan encounters a beautiful muse named Bella who is trapped by a powerful spell. She can be freed if she regains three songs stolen from her, but only if she does it within 24 hours! Bella enlists Bryan's help for this quest. Mystery, adventure and romance unfold as they go through the streets of Singapore, chasing time in search of the songs of Singapore.

Wow, Dolly's Hubby Roy on the booklet.. he is the Lighting designer for the show... impressive..

We are seated at 2nd level circle... i'm impressed by the singing of the lead George Chan & Elena Wong.. Good voice! And also the stage design with the blend of lights.. Even rain drops can be done by lights!
