Fishy Fish's Sketches: Hong Kong Trip Report

At Changi Airport T3 waiting for sab for lunch b4 fly off.. decided to carry my haversack there afraid my luggage will be too heavy by then. Trolley is from YKK?? Wow didnt know other then zip they actually have trolleys...

Now i know where all the taxi gone to........

Had lunch at Dian Xiao Er and ten proceed to T1 to check in...

My first time flying alone, kinda excited. Chose the window seat for a better view....
At SG custom jux now, tink after the uncle fly to vietnam with his son passport incident, they are more tight while checking.. we need to scan thumbprint even we go to the officer counter...

Wow finally reach HK! The custom is reali reali slow! Waited for almost an hour for my turn! Vomit blood! 8pm touch down, 9pm come out of custom! Pengz... Took the Airport Express to Kowloon station and transfer a 10min Cab to Feon Place. 港湾豪庭。。。

Bought a little pressie, agnes b passport holder... Hope she like it! Pie say have to disturb her for this few days!

Didnt waste much time, here we go out for my dinner cum supper! Took 小巴 from her place to Mongkok only 10mins walk around racky abit but didnt get much stuffs..

The night is still young! So many ppl along the street though is already 10 plus 11pm on tis wk day...

Had Mango Sago w Pomelo at one of the traditional dessert store instead of 许留山。。。

This is her little nest in HK... i tot is studio apartment at first! But after tat ten i realise is actually a v normal size for all HK ppl.. one big family also stay in tis kind of apartment. Above is a living room..

Had breakfast at a 茶餐厅 downstairs of her house. I ordered Milk Tea.. there's no milo in HK only ovaltine is available.

My set comes w Macaroni w Chicken & Carrot Cake

We took MTR to Lo Hu the border of Shenzhen & HK and coveniently change to Shenzhen New Metro to the shopping area. The single trip ticket is actually a coin chip. Scan like an ezlink and drop it into the machine once come out of the station gate. Hmmm.. notice the logo of the Shenzhen Metro...is excactly like HK's! Jux an additional stroke on it... Power man... like tat also can ah!

Things there is v cheap... most of them are imitations but is all super fine with super good price! Juz lik the MTR logo.. haha.. saw alot agnes b bags but didnt get one as i'm a fan of agnes b, how can buy leh! But is only S$6 lo.. cannot tell is fake some more.. sighzzz... Had lunch at Mcdonald's, tried the Mala Chicken Burger.. not bad something new.. Also went for manicure at less S$10 but of cos their skill is as professional la... but its cheap! Jux try for fun...

Also bought a Samosonite Look-alike luggage at abt S$35! Haha... happy! So tat i can buy more tins! Change 500 HKD and spend big time there! Cool...

As it keep raining, we decided to have our early dinner there. Tried this fast food rest call 真功夫。。
They served rice and dishes.. q tasty but abit saltish.. something new, diff from the usual burgers.. this is like chinese version Yoshinoya..

Back to HK.. we unloaded all our stuffs and here we go out AGAIN! Haha.. eat the fish ball again as its v nice! Curry Fish Ball... though its not as crunchy as SG but it taste reali good! Q spicy with lik curry maggi mee taste! Also tried the Smelly Tofu, first time in my life.. taste ok cant reali smell the pungent smell..

Went to a dessert store for dessert. Surprisingly this one specialize in Durian Desserts. We ordered the durian glutinous rice roll.. nice! Its filled with only durian meat!

I tried the Papaya with "tadpole" egg

Feon cant resist wat i ate ytd nite.. she ordered e same wat pomelo mango... Haha..

Dim sum at a bling bling restaurant.... reali v victorian style interior...

Clean cups and utensils first b4 eating...

Pengzzz.. such nice restaurant, my plate is chipped!

We ordered the usual dishes..nice and cheap! So may stuffs only S$20 plus! Wowww...

Took MTR fr Mongkok to Kwai Fong for more shopping! A place wher only locals know.. the shop ppl there surprise to see us foreigners there.. interior is exactly lik Far East Plaza but the tins there is nice and more unique from Mongkok..some stuffs are imported from Japan.. though not cheap but worth buying...i bought some hand-made accessories there and a pair of shoes imported from japan.

Went Tsim Sha Tsui for more shopping and went to the biggest LV in asia.. 3 levels high.. and surprise to see Chow Yun Fatt photo exhibition inside LV.. didnt knw tat he is into photography.. didnt take pix as afraid its not allowed...also went Miu Miu but nothing to buy.. its so crowded tat i dun feel tat i'm in a branded boutique!

Get a quick bite at Mcdonald's.. as we gonna catch 8pm Symphony of Lights at the harbour...haha.. Sausage Egg Muffin at nite??? This burger is served all day long! And wats more the meat is pork! Yummy... tast so much nicer..

The only chilli sauce they have.. Thai Sweet Chilli..

Wow the symphony of lights at Victoria Harbour is so magnificent! Opposite building at HK island actually blink lights with e music.. a great tourist attraction..

If the Symphony of Light is the main prog of the day.. this roast pigeon will be the 2nd highlight man!

First of all must pour the Pepper Salt on top... not much meat but v tasty.. tink it will goes well w beer.. haha!

Day 4 is alone shopping day..cos feon have to work cant bring me around..
Took train from a nearby station Olympic to Tung Chung Citygate for some outlet mall shopping..

See.. the logo of HK MTR.. haha..

Had lunch at Food Republic, chose Curry Chicken Rice.. not bad but salty.. HK food are all q saltish compared to SG. And super dissapointed tat i didnt get anythin there! There is quicksilver, nike, puma, I.T, AX, Club 21 outlet and etc but nothin! I try my best to try on everythin but yet.. only bought a tee from Espirit.. hmmm... angry! Or mayb i bought too much super cheap stuffs from Mongkok, so to me the tins at citygate is ex! Haha.. but reali man, no suitable one... sighzzz...

Transfer train to Tong Luo Wan Station and saw this inside MTR station.. 39 days to go for Beijing Olympic..

Again.. v crowded.. its like our Orchard Road.. There's a 12 storey Sogo, Times Square with shops and Lane Crawford, etc... Mit feon there for dinner..

Now at Hong Kong Island.. i get to see this Oldies Tram.. interesting..

Went to this Macau 茶餐厅 for small bite.. had the delicious milk curd and pork cutlet burger 猪扒包... nice! Wander biao jie eat in Macau one is it the same???

Saw this cafe seems v comfy from opposite and we decided to check it out.. its actually a shop sell lingerie and some girly stuffs with a small corner tat can drink tea & relax..

The sofa cloth looks lik Laura Ashley! Haha..

Tot we can have cakes at e nice cafe but too bad they only serve drinks.. so went back to Mongkok eat dessert AGAIN! Heeheee... 来香港不就是买东西吃东西嘛!

Took some pix at Feon's Apartment... Find tat her place is rather cozy and safe... Its jux lik Compass Heights, whereby there is a small mall downstairs and there is not only one security check point.. security there also v helpful and friendly... It breaks my mentality tat HK ppl are all rude and fierce.. among these days of shopping, sale staffs all are rather friendly only prob i face is i dun underst cantonese!

Lunch at Mongkok East.. Ice Redbean.. Nice! Basically is condensed milk with redbean.. haha.. but its good!

Roast Goose Rice.. Discover tat they dun use Fork n Spoon.. HK ppl eat rice on plate but with soup spoon and chopsticks! No wonder i cant find Fork & Spoon when at Food court tat day.. have to go the indian stall ten i find some! Haha..

Roast Goose with Noodle.. The goose is reali nice, abit fat and noodle salty...

Heard from Feon this shop food also nice, they specialize in FishBall noodles.. can try if there's chance to go again..

Went Fa Yuen Street for Pasar Malam Goodies..

Not reali Pasar Malam man.. its much more better then ours! So much tins to buy! Bought a few nice tops for mum there and is less ten $10.. I also got a nice dress for $8! Hehee..

Cute jelly boots for children.. even adults wear rubber boots during raining days.. SG is jux too hot to wear and i tink ppl sure say " U Phua Chu Kang ah???? "

Went back to Mongkok for some final shopping.. look at the ppl! Faint! Feon say its like Countdown everyday! SG only Countdown to NewYear or Xmas will see this kind of crowd...

This is interesting.. this billboard is actually advertising tuition centre.. Looks lik a superstar advert! Heard tat ppl there see how cute the teacher is ten they will sign up.. so tuition centre all do up their advert nicely as its too competitive there..

Tink is abt S$8 bucks for a slice with a fruit juice... quite resonable wor!

Coming back to SG.. weather super fine.. but i'm not fine...

Had lunch on plane... spaghatti w chicken meat balls and apple juice..
Bad experience at HK airport.. the transferring to gate and etc is too tedious! Check in at T2 but gate at T1! Tiring! The shops after custom is, yes alot, but too messy and big to shop around! Not i wan2 say ah.. SG airport is still the best except budget terminal! Haha..
